The member units of China Sugar Association have the daily processing capacity of 670,000-ton sugar materials and the annual capacity of about 6-million-ton sugar output.The main varieties of the products are white crystal sugar, soft sugar and brown crystal sugar. In addition, 3 million tons of the byproduct molasses are produced a year. Bying using molasses as the raw material, 550,000 tons of alcohol, 20,000 tons yeast and 20,000 tons of monosodium glutamate are turned out; with byproduct bagasse as the raw material, 600,000 tons of various paper, pulp and board, 500,000 cubic meters of medium-density fibber board and particle board are manufactured;the byproduct beet pulp is turned into 500,000 tons of pelleted pulp. Besides, the other cutegrated-utilization products are glacial acetic acid, ethyl acetate and furfural etc.

The member units of China Sugar Association have various professional personnel contingent of relatively high level, and are strong in the actual strength of the scientific research, technical development, prospecting and designing, equipment manufacture, construction and installation, quality inspection and supervision, as well as the training of the qualified personnel. They can contract the total tasks of the sugar industry from planting raw materials,the manufacture of sugar machinery, the construction of sugar plant, sugar production to scientific research and development, and training.
