CLII--China Alcoholic Drinks Making Industry Association

On June 22.1992, China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association was established, approved by Ministry of civil administration, People's Republic of China (shetuanzi Reply No.1091) . China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association is composed of the production Enterprises, which apply the bioengineering technology to make alcoholic drinks, and the related enterprises; the Association is a social and economic organization serving the above-mentioned enterprises; it is the all-trade, nationwide organization which is trans-region, trans-department and in spite of ownership; it is the social organization which has independent legal person qualification. Vocationally guided by China National Council of Light Industry, the Association independently carries out various trade activities, having now more than 2,000 members which can be found all of the country.

The Association plays the role of a bridge and a link between the responsible department of the government and the members, does work entrusted by the government, reflects the wishes and demands of the sector, makes a good job of the trade management, and promotes the development of the whole sector.

The supreme organ of the Association power is the members' representative assembly. The board of directors and the standing board of directors are elected on the basis of democratic consultation.The Association has four sector branches and four specialized committees as follows: spirit branch; beer branch; yellow wine branch; alcohol branch; wine specialized committee; fruit wine specialized committee; specialized committee of science, education, design and facilities; and specialized committee of fodder and comprehensive utilization.The permanent organizations of the Association are secretariat, policy study department and technical committee: responsible the routine duties of the Association. The Association is located in Beijing.
