CLII--China Food Additive Production & Application Industry Association

Approved by the Ministry of Civil Administration,China Food Additive Production & Application Industry Association (CFAA) was established in March,1993. CFAA is a united organization composed of food additive manufacturers,related enterprises and institutions in China.CFAA is also a social organization and body corporate.

At present,the association has over 600 member units, including producers,users,distributors,research and design institutes,colleges as well as equipment manufacturers.The member units are scattered over various provinces, municipalities and autonomus regions in China (including Taiwan).

Under the standing board of directors of CFAA there are an office and three sections:administration section, technology service section and editorial of CHINA FOOD ADDITIVES.There are also seven specialized committees,namely:
Food Colours Committee,
Sweeteners Committee,
Nutrition Enhancers and Special Nutrition Food Products Committee,
Preservatives,Antioxidants and Antistaling Agents Committee,
Thickeners,Emulsifiers and Quality Improvers Committee,
Food Flavorings and Essences Committee,
Applied Technology Committee.

The association publishes its own quarterly journal CHINA FOOD ADDITIVES that is issued publicly at home and abroad, and nonperiodic BULLETIN,supplying information for the association members.
