With over 1300 members representing 400,000 workers and staffs, China Leather Industry Association(C.L.A.) was established in February 1987.
C.L.A is a social economic body, whose members are manufacturers, institutions, research institutes and individuals.
Based on leather-making, fur, shoes, leather goods, leather chemistry, leather machinery, leather hardware and shoe materials, C.L.I.A. is the national organization of leather industry.
As the role of a bridge and a tie between the government and the enterprises, C.L.I.A timely releases the production situation and development trend of the whole business circle, organizes investigation for the whole trade, compiles information materials, provides all forms of intentions of cooperation. "Report on China Leather Industry Association " edited by secretariat of the Association is an important medium of information.
