| China National Furniture
Association(CNFA) is a transregional, transdepartmental and
transindustrial national specialized organization. It is voluntarily oined
by institutions, enterprises, social organizations and individuals in the
field of production, management, research and education in furniture, and
its relative industries. Its business is directed by China National
Council of Light Industry. CNFA represents the interests of its own industry, reflects the wishes and requirements of its members, provides services to and safeguards lawful rights and interests of its members. It communicates instructions from the Government and plays a role of bridge and tie between enterprises and the Government. CNFA is registered as legal entity of social organization. The main tasks of CNFA is: 1.Carrying out early stage research, drawing up preliminary drafts and tracking the feed back from the execution thereof, putting forward proposal and participating in formulating of trade policy. 2.Giving advice on adjustment of product-mix and enterprise structure, construction of raw and processed material base; formulating investment and technical development guidebooks; participating in or organizing assessment and consulation for important capital construction and technological improvement projects entrusted by the Government or enterprises. 3.Assisting in formulating professional criteria and participating in directing the inspection and information work of the industry. 4.Participating in certification, quality supervision, issuing production permit and quality certificate for import and export products of the trade. 5.Organizing economic and technological exchange ,personnel training, international cooperation; holding exhibitions both at home and abroad; participating in cultivating the market for the industry, coordinating trade activities; editing and publishing professional newspapers and magazines; providing good services to enterprises for expanding domestic and international market and increasing economic efficiency. 6.Collecting and analyzing technical and economic information from both home and abroad of the same trade; carrying out market forecast; keeping abreast with current market situation and putting forward proposals to solve common problems in the same trade. 7.Organizing the formulation and execution of the trade regulations; safeguarding the lawful rights of the trade and enterprises; coordinating the relationship between enterprises of the trade and that with other trades. 8.Undertaking other work entrusted by the government and enterprises. 9.Carrying out other activities that are beneficial to the trade. | |
