China Toys Association was established in June,1986 by the approval of the State Economic committee according to the regulations of the State Council, it formally registered itself in the Ministry of Civil Administration of the People's Republic of China after verification in 1993.

China Toys Association is an independent social and economic corporate , voluntarily formed by the units in toys sector ,mainly by toy producers, also include the units engaged in scientific research, education, marketing and sales , which are transsector, transregion and transownership.

China Toys Association is under the guide of China National Council of Light Industry, and acts as bridge between the government and the trade units. Entrusted by the government, it works to strengthen the sector management reflect the voice of the sector, maintains the legitimate rights and interests of the members, serves the members and the sector, and promotes the development of the sector.

In current, China Toys Association has over 1,000 members all over the country . Its key tasks are as follows: carrying out exchanges and cooperation in various fields with the same trade abroad, mediating the channels between production and marketing, and promoting the lateral economic ties between industry and commerce.

Entrusted by the responsible department of the government, China Toys Association works out the developing plan and the standards for the sector, organizes the assessment and consultation for the import ant capital construction items and technical innovation projects for accelerating development of the sector, recommends the leading enterprises, famous brands and quality products of the segment.
