 Founded in June,1986,China Light Industry Mould & Die
Association is the sectoral organization composed of the enterprises,
institutions, scientific research units as well as the colleges and
universities, which are engaged in the production and manufacture of the
light-industry moulds &Dies, with the ones of non-metal products, such
as plastics,ceramics, glass and leather as the main body, and which are
engaged in the work of the mould standard parts, mould processing
equipment, mould raw materials and mould CAD/CAM technique. In 1990, the
name of the Association was once changed into China Non-Metal-Product
Mould Association with the approval of the Ministry of Civil
Administration, The Association now has 312 members, its secretariat is
the administrative body of routine duties.
 After its establishment, the
Association has fully played the role of a bridge and a link, and has done
a great deal of two-way service work with actual effect in the fields of
assisting the government departments to do the trade management and
serving the trade,etc. They are mainly: to organize the trade
investigation and study; to draw up the developing programme of the trade;
to organize the experts to make the inspections and proofs of the projects
of technical renovation, tackling science and technology,and development
of science and technology; to organize the trade to work out and revise
the mould standards; to organize the domestic and foreign technical
exchanges, to sponsor exhibition, to popularize new technique, new
technology, new equipment and new materials; to train technical personnel
and to compile and publish "Mould Information of Light Industry"
regularly, etc.
 At present, Mr. Yu
Zhen is the chairman of the board of directors, Mr. Hu Nan is the
executive vice-chairman of the board of directors, Mr. Zhou Junquan is the
vice-chairman of the board of directors and concurrently the
secretary-general. Mr. Cao Zhenping is the standing deputy
secretary-general and the contact person.
